Nantucket Atheneum presents AWAKE, A Dream from Standing Rock

The Nantucket Atheneum is screening the documentary AWAKE, A Dream from Standing Rock on April 5 at 7pm. This film is a record of the massive peaceful resistance led by the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe to the Dakota Access Pipeline through their land and underneath the Missouri River.

This film is a collaboration between indigenous filmmakers: Director Myron Dewey and Executive Producer Doug Good Feather; and environmental Oscar-nominated filmmakers Josh Fox and James Spione.

Think Different Film Series is presented by Glen Weimer and runs monthly through April 2019.
